Beneficial State Bank Intranet Image

Fashioned in the image of the great socially responsible banks and credit unions of national and international fame, Beneficial State Bank is mandated to produce meaningful social justice and environmental benefits at the same time that it is financially sustainable. The Bank's Foundation owns all of the economic rights of the Bank - when profits of the Bank are distributed, they can only be distributed to the Foundation which is mandated to reinvest those proceeds back into the communities and the environment on which we all depend. In their theory and experience, this ownership model aligns their incentives with the triple bottom line and the values of customers.

We have worked closely with Beneficial State Bank to implement a SharePoint based Intranet solution with custom developed branding and collaboration features to streamline their current business processes. Some of the functionality includes a "Community Calendar" for sharing events bank-wide and allowing users to easily add these events to their Outlook calendars, a blog section with keyword search capability, custom WebParts for displaying bank policies and forms based on a metadata tagging structure allowing them to be parsed into department or functional business views based on the document tags; as well as a custom WebPart to provide access to C3 cloud-hosted applications by job function. The custom branding applied to the site is in accordance with branding guidelines developed as part of an overall bank re-naming/re-branding effort.
